大晦日でヘルシンキでオペラハウスで大人ならば。
If you were adult at the opera house in
Helsinki on the New Year's Eve....

大晦日のオペラ劇場で
背中が大きく開いたイブニングドレスを
元気にお召しになるのは若い娘さんたち。
ウール地で裏地が厚めの
シルクの秋冬用イブニングの方もおいでですが、
赤い色を着る御婦人が多かった。
赤はやっぱり祝祭の色なんだなー。
赤いシルクのブラウス、
赤い長いスカート、赤い上着。
ヘルシンキのオペラ劇場はその夜、
美しい赤がいっぱいでした。

 

At the opera house on the New Year's Eve

those who wore the evening dress opened widely

on the back vigorously were young ladies.

While some of the senior ladies wore the woolen

evening dress for autumn and winter

with thick silk lining,

many of them wore red dresses indeed.

Red is really the color for the festival.

Red silk blouses, red long skirts, red coats....

the opera house in Helsinki was

filled with red color that night.
