魅力的な絵がたくさん集められていて、もちろんラインの３人娘も登場する。
少女体型のラインの乙女たち。
つまんだような胸。くびれる前の薄いウエスト。すんなりした腰。
その全部が美を見せつけていて、
アルベリヒじゃなくても男性にはたまらないだろうなと思う。
この３人の若い浅はかな優越感が、長い長い権力と欲望のオペラのはじまり。

The illustrated book "Wagner et la France" (Paris, 1983) 
contains many attractive pictures, and of course three Rhinemaiden too.
Rhinemaiden in girlish figure.
Breasts as picked up. Not yet constricted flat waist.
Slim hips.
All these show beauty, and seem to be irresistible to any man,
if he were not Alberich.
Young and silly sense of superiority of 
the Three is the beginning of this long long over power and greed.
